Our Disney Photo Tradition – Our WDW Photo Spot

During an episode of WDW Radio podcast, we heard a great tip.  We fortunately heard the tip before Brooke’s first trip, but unfortunately after our first trip as a family.

We have faithfully done this tradition on every trip with Brooke!

The tradition is to have our photo taken as a family on Main Street USA.

And now after Brooke has been more than 15 times, we can look back at all the great memories through these photos.

Lou Mongello, host of WDW Radio, recommended this tip to us because of his photo spot.  When he was young his parents snapped a photo of him sitting on the curb on Main Street USA.  Since then he has recreated the photo many times.

We have taken the photo with other family members, in the rain, in the heat, and in the near freezing temperatures!  We vary between day and night and how close we are to the Castle.

But regardless of time or weather, we make sure we get a family photo in our favorite part of Walt Disney World!  What better spot is there?  Main Street USA with the sights and sounds of Magic Kingdom.  You can feel the anticipation of guests as they walk down the street.  With Cinderella’s Castle in the background, this is the perfect photo spot for our family!

Pick your favorite spot and start the tradition on your next trip.

Enjoy the photos from our trips!
