Welcome to the Southern Family Travels blog! We started this site as a way to share our family travels. My husband and I have been married for almost 20 years now. We have had some fun and crazy adventures in these years. Now we travel mostly as a threesome and our daughter has just as much fun as we do!
We decided to start this blog as a way to remember our trips – the good, the not-so-good, and the family time together! We will be chronicling some of our older trips, pre-kid era trips, and trips that we may have just completed. We are looking at this as our digital scrapbook!
One important element that we want to track was how we found things so different from our home state. We reside in South Carolina and our southern roots run deep…. through South Carolina, North Carolina, and Georgia. When our adventures take us out of the South, we love to try new things that are decidedly not Southern! Sometimes our experiences are epic fails. Sometimes we have the best time ever! But whether our travels bring joy or pain, we always have a blast.
